Amber Alert: Missouri Toddler Found Safe After Abduction

SUNSET HILLS, Mo. — The Missouri Highway Patrol issued an Amber Alert for a 2-year-old girl abducted Monday afternoon in Sunset Hills. The girl, identified as Xailyn Scholl, was last seen around 4:46 p.m. on September 28.
Authorities reported that 30-year-old Jacob Robert Putman took a vehicle containing Scholl after asking her mother for assistance in jumpstarting his own car.
On Sunday evening, the Missouri State Highway Patrol announced that Scholl had been found safe. Officers located her unharmed, though details on where she was found or how she came to be located were not disclosed.
Putman, who has multiple tattoos on his face and neck, remains at large. Authorities describe him as white, standing 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing around 160 pounds, with blue eyes.
