Austin Wells Jack Victor Fashion Partnership

NEW YORK, NY — Austin Wells, catcher for the New York Yankees, has formed a partnership with Jack Victor, a Montreal-based luxury men’s clothing brand. This collaboration comes after Wells was introduced to the brand in 2023 when he needed a suit for travel.

Wells shared how he found the perfect suit at Nordstrom, which he later wore during a photo shoot that caught the attention of Jack Victor’s team. “It’s been a good relationship since,” he said.

Jack Victor has encouraged its players to present a professional image while on the road, with initiatives like “Dress Like a Big Leaguer.” Wells will prominently feature in Jack Victor’s upcoming fall campaign, with images showcased on billboards and social media platforms across New York City.

<p“Throughout my career, the moment I put on my uniform, I feel locked in,” Wells stated. He emphasized that wearing a well-fitted suit gives him a similar sense of confidence. Wells noted that finding clothing that fits athletic builds can be challenging, but Jack Victor’s collection has worked well for him.

<p“This is the first real fashion brand that I’ve been associated with, and it’s honestly been the best for me,” Wells said. He enjoys blending fashion with baseball and appreciates the comfort of Jack Victor's clothing.

While he tends to wear tailored outfits for campaigns, Wells opts for polo shirts and jeans when he arrives at the ballpark. He mentioned that MLB players are encouraged to elevate their fashion game due to the increasing influence of fashion in sports.

<p“It’s hard for MLB players to compete in fashion when we play 162 games a season,” Wells explained. “We’d need 162 different outfits or combinations.” He remarked that the Yankees' social media team promotes the players’ fashion choices, highlighting their efforts to broaden players' representation beyond the field.

<pAs the Yankees head into the playoffs, Wells anticipates an increased focus on fashion. “There’s definitely a little bit more pride when you’re getting ready for a playoff game,” he noted.

<pJack Victor's executive also emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating, “Austin brings a special energy and enthusiasm to his work on the baseball field.” The brand aims to connect more deeply with consumers through “America’s pastime.”

Jack Victor, founded in 1913, specializes in high-end men’s clothing. The company aims to blend style and comfort for modern athletes. “These tailored pieces are designed for men to move with the same ease through every part of their day,” Victor added.
