Returning Cast for Season 11 of ‘Chicago Med’ Confirmed

CHICAGO, Ill. — The popular medical drama ‘Chicago Med’ is set to return for its eleventh season, with several beloved cast members making a comeback. Nick Gehlfuss, Torrey DeVitto, Yaya DaCosta, and Brian Tee will reprise their roles when the season premieres on October 1, 2025.

‘Chicago Med’ has been known for its intense storylines and character development throughout its ten-season run. Gehlfuss originally portrayed Dr. Will Halstead and DeVitto as Dr. Natalie Manning for eight seasons, where their tumultuous relationship captivated viewers. In September 2025, Gehlfuss expressed his excitement about rejoining the cast, stating that he has always been open to returning.

This season will also feature Jessy Schram and other familiar faces, including DaCosta and Tee, who played key roles in previous seasons. Notably, the character of Maggie Lockwood, played by the longstanding cast member, has not returned after a health challenge in 2022. The series, part of NBC’s One Chicago franchise, debuted in 2015 and has maintained a loyal fanbase.

Fortunately for the cast off-screen, many have stable relationships. Gehlfuss has been married to Lilian Matsuda since 2016. DeVitto tied the knot with director Jared LaPine in 2024.

Tee and his wife welcomed a daughter, Madelyn Skyler, in 2015. Each cast member appears to balance their dramatic roles with fulfilling personal lives.
