Detroit, MI – The winning numbers for the Mega Millions drawing held on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, have been announced. The jackpot soared to an estimated $965 million, with a cash option of $445.3 million.
The winning numbers are: 1, 8, 11, 12, and 57, while the Mega Ball is 7. A ticket sold in Georgia matched all six numbers to claim the jackpot. Additionally, a ticket sold in Portage, Michigan, matched the five white balls and included a 3X multiplier to win $3 million. The winning ticket in Michigan was purchased at the Marathon gas station located at 4421 W. Centre Ave.
This latest Mega Millions drawing marks the end of the longest streak without a jackpot winner since the game’s inception in 2002, totaling 40 consecutive drawings without a winner. The previous record of 37 drawings without a jackpot winner was set on Jan. 22, 2021.
The next drawing is scheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 18, with an estimated jackpot resetting to $50 million and a cash option of $23.2 million. Ticket sales for the Mega Millions are available until 10:45 p.m. on the night of the draw.
Players can participate by selecting six numbers—five from the white balls (numbered 1 to 70) and one from the gold Mega Ball (numbered 1 to 24). Tickets cost $5 each, and players can also opt for the Easy Pick/Quick Pick option for randomly generated numbers.
The Mega Millions game features a built-in multiplier that enhances non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four, five, or ten times. This multiplier is randomly assigned at the time of ticket purchase. The odds of winning the Mega Millions jackpot are approximately 1 in 290,472,336, while the overall chance of winning any prize is about 1 in 23.
Winners have the option to choose between an annuity paid out over 30 years or a lump-sum cash payment that represents the total cash available in the jackpot pool.
