Congress Leader Manvendra Singh Injured And Wife Dies In Tragic Car Accident

Congress leader and former Lok Sabha MP, Manvendra Singh, was injured in a tragic car accident that took place near Alwar in Rajasthan. The accident resulted in the death of his wife, Chitra Singh, while their son, Hamir, was also injured in the crash. The accident occurred on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway as they were traveling from Delhi to Jaipur.

The cause of the accident is still unknown, but it appears that the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit the sidewall. Manvendra Singh, his son, and the driver have been taken to a hospital for treatment. According to doctors, their injuries are not life-threatening.

Manvendra Singh, who joined the Congress party in 2018 after leaving the BJP, represented the Barmer constituency in Rajasthan from 2004 to 2009. He is also a Colonel in the Territorial Army.

Former Rajasthan Chief Minister, Ashok Gehlot, expressed his condolences for the death of Chitra Singh and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident. Other political leaders, including Sachin Pilot and Bhajanlal Sharma, also extended their condolences and wished for the swift recovery of the injured.
