Cory Ellison The Morning Show Season 4

Actor Billy Crudup has hinted at exciting developments for his character, Cory Ellison, in the upcoming fourth season of “The Morning Show.” Having been left jobless at UBA, Ellison is set to embark on a new path. These insights were shared following Crudup’s recent win at the 76th Emmy Awards.

Speaking to journalists backstage, the Emmy-winning actor expressed disbelief at the idea of his character being without employment or success. “I never imagined him without a job or without succeeding,” he commented. Crudup finds joy in portraying a character optimistically confident in his ability to navigate challenging situations.

Reflecting on the character, Crudup said, “I thought that was one of the things that was most enjoyable about playing [the character]. He never got down on himself, because he always had the confidence that he would, in the end, prevail very quick in his maneuvering.” He further revealed that Cory’s next steps are being crafted by the show’s writers, presenting Ellison with new and exciting challenges in uncharted territory.

Crudup’s performance in Season 3 has not only earned him an Emmy but also praise for his portrayal of a character “going somewhat off the rails,” as he faced off against tech mogul Paul Marks, played by Jon Hamm. “Having played a character who’s super cool all the time, to get to have some kind of physical expression of anger was pretty fun,” the actor noted.

“The Morning Show,” which has been renewed for a fourth season well in advance of the Season 3 premiere, is currently in production. Discussions about a possible fifth season are also underway. However, no premiere date for Season 4 has been announced yet.
