Elton John’s ‘Tammy Faye’ Musical to Close on Broadway in December
The Broadway musical ‘Tammy Faye,’ which features music by Elton John and lyrics by Jake Shears, has announced its closing date. The show, directed by Rupert Goold and written by James Graham, will play its final performance at the Palace Theatre on December 8, 2024.
Starring Katie Brayben as Tammy Faye Bakker, the musical also features Christian Borle as Jim Bakker and Michael Cerveris as Jerry Falwell. The cast is rounded out by Autumn Hurlbert as the Tammy Faye Bakker Alternate, along with several other notable actors playing various roles, including Nick Bailey, Charl Brown, Mark Evans, and Allison Guinn.
