Celebrity Big Brother winner Alex Reid has expressed his discontent with the reality show’s manipulative tactics, accusing the producers of intentionally inciting drama among contestants. Reid, who emerged victorious in the 2010 season of the show, shared insights on his experience inside the Big Brother house, shedding light on how the show’s creators would purposely ruffle feathers to keep the entertainment quotient high.

In a recent interview, the former MMA fighter, who was previously married to Katie Price, reminisced about his time on Celebrity Big Brother, where he encountered a mix of personalities including the likes of Vinnie Jones and Dane Bowers. Reid divulged an incident where tensions ran high due to the living conditions within the house, prompting him to confront show bosses.

Recounting a specific moment, Reid highlighted a situation involving Bowers who was secretly tasked with enjoying luxurious amenities while the rest of the housemates endured discomfort. The house, according to Reid, felt excessively hot like a sauna, prompting him to repeatedly request the producers to adjust the heating. When his requests were allegedly ignored, Reid threatened to escalate the matter, nearly leading to a security intervention.
