Former Seahawks Cornerback Richard Sherman Arrested For Dui

Former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman was arrested for DUI in the early hours of Saturday morning, confirmed by the Washington State Patrol.

The King County Jail roster indicates that Sherman was booked for DUI at 4:51 a.m., while the King County Prosecutor's Office has not yet received charges for the NFL star as of Saturday afternoon.

The exact location of the arrest remains unclear, but if it occurred on a state road such as I-90 or I-405, Sherman’s charges would be forwarded to the district court unit.

WSP has stated that the incident is still under investigation, with further details being withheld until the Prosecutor's Office files the case.

Sherman had previously pleaded guilty to first-degree negligent driving, second-degree criminal trespass, and speeding in a construction zone in March 2022.
