Frontier Airlines Expands JFK Routes with New Flights to Miami, Dallas, and Los Angeles

NEW YORK CITY – Frontier Airlines announced on January 7, 2025, that it will launch three new nonstop routes from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Miami, Dallas-Fort Worth, and Los Angeles this spring. The expansion marks a significant step in the low-cost carrier’s growth strategy at one of the nation’s busiest airports.

Starting March 30, Frontier will offer daily flights to Miami International Airport (MIA). On April 22, the airline will begin four-times-weekly service to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), followed by daily flights to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) starting May 1. To celebrate the new routes, Frontier is offering promotional fares as low as $19 one-way.

“This is an exciting day for consumers as we once again expand our offerings at JFK,” said Josh Flyr, vice president of network and operations design at Frontier Airlines. “With the launch of these ultra-low fare flights to Miami, Dallas, and Los Angeles, we are increasing the availability of affordable travel to top destinations for New Yorkers, as well as making a New York adventure or business trip that much more affordable for budget-savvy consumers across the United States.”

Frontier began operations at JFK in June 2024 and has since expanded its presence at the airport, now serving eight destinations. The airline has also introduced premium upgrades, including its UpFront Plus seating option, which offers extra legroom and a guaranteed empty middle seat. By late 2025, Frontier plans to debut First Class seating on all flights, combining comfort with its trademark low fares.

The airline’s frequent flyer program, FRONTIER Miles, will also see enhancements in 2025, including free seat upgrades and additional benefits for elite status members. Frontier’s expansion aligns with its commitment to providing affordable travel options while improving the customer experience.
