La Galaxy Vs Houston Dynamo Fc Matchday

CARSON, Calif. — The LA Galaxy will host Houston Dynamo FC on Saturday, April 12, at 7:30 p.m. PT at Dignity Health Sports Park. This matchup marks the club’s 30th season celebration, featuring a historic rivalry with 44 all-time meetings and the Galaxy holding a lead in the series.

As part of the matchday festivities, a pre-game performance by the electronic duo Forester, consisting of David Parris and Xander Carlson, will take place. The duo, known for their unique soundscapes that blend nature with urban elements, has been active since 2019 and will be performing live as their popularity continues to rise.

In honor of the Galaxy’s anticipated 2024 MLS Cup victory, the team will be giving away 10,000 replica championship rings to fans attending the game. Furthermore, the University of Southern California will be recognized at the event, with LA Galaxy x USC hats made available through a sold-out ticket pack.

During the match, the LA Galaxy Foundation will host an auction for a team-signed LA Galaxy x Modelo DGK skate deck, available for bidding until the 75th minute. Additionally, fans can enjoy a post-game performance by the band Extra Time in the AMEX Stadium Club until 11 p.m., welcoming all attendees.

For a smoother match day experience, fans are urged to arrive early. Dignity Health Sports Park has implemented a clear bag policy to enhance contactless entry. All tickets and parking passes will be digital, and attendees are encouraged to download the latest versions of the LA Galaxy and AXS apps. For help, fans can reach out at 1-877-3GALAXY.

Alternative transportation options are available through the Galaxy Express shuttle service, which offers free non-stop shuttles from Del Amo Station and Harbor Gateway Transit Center starting at 6:00 p.m. with departures every ten minutes up through the 15th minute of the match. Return shuttles will run for 45 minutes post-game.

Supporter sections ACB, GLX, LARS, OTLZ, and STAND will be designated as LA Galaxy support areas, where visiting team gear is not permitted. Fans can also order concessions via the LA Galaxy app for on-site pick-up at designated stands.

The LA Galaxy will be without midfielder Riqui Puig, who is sidelined with a torn ACL, while Marco Reus and Maya Yoshida are both doubtful due to injuries. Houston Dynamo FC will also be missing key players, with James Maurer unavailable due to a knee injury and Duane Holmes recovering from a leg fracture.

With both teams seeking to improve early in the 2025 season, this encounter carries added significance. The Galaxy have struggled to find their form, remaining winless so far, while Houston aims to build momentum after securing their first victory of the season against LAFC.
