High River Gift Of Music Presents Enchanting Rocky Mountain Fairy Tales For Children

High River Gift of Music presents Rocky Mountain Fairy Tales, an enchanting children’s concert that will captivate young imaginations. Set to take place on Saturday, February 10th at 2 p.m. at the High River United Church, this free interactive experience promises to delight and entertain.

Transporting the audience to the picturesque meadows high above Canmore, Samantha Whelan Kotkas and Mark Limacher will weave a magical journey where music and fantasy collide. According to legend, the mountain fairies gather in these meadows to dance under the luminous glow of the full moon.

Master storyteller Whelan Kotkas, who is also a professional trumpet player, teaching artist, and children’s book producer, is celebrated for her unique interactive experiences crafted specifically for young audiences. Together with composer-pianist Limacher, a graduate of New School University in New York City, they will create an unforgettable musical experience intermingled with captivating tales.

For 15 years, High River Gift of Music, a non-profit society, has been spreading the joy of classical music in High River and its surrounding areas. Since its inception in 2009, the society has been dedicated to enriching the community with world-class performances.

Don’t miss this extraordinary event that promises to ignite children’s imaginations and nurture their love for music. For more information, please visit highrivergiftofmusic.com.
