Jennie’s Solo Album ‘Ruby’ Released Amidst BLACKPINK’s Solo Projects

LOS ANGELES, CA – March 7, 2025 – Jennie‘s highly anticipated solo album ‘Ruby‘ debuted today, marking a significant moment in her music career following the recent solo projects of her BLACKPINK bandmates. The album features 15 tracks, blending elements of R&B, pop, and hip-hop, and showcases Jennie’s unique style and artistic direction.

The album opener, ‘Jane,’ introduces listeners to a world of soft melodies over a gentle music-box undertone, gradually shifting into a percussive beat accompanied by synthesizers. ‘Ruby’ follows the recent solo releases from other BLACKPINK members: Rosé’s ‘R’ in December, Jisoo‘s ‘Amortage’ on February 14, and Lisa‘s ‘Alter Ego’ last week.
