Taylor Swift Engagement Ring Jeweler Kindred Lubeck

New York City, NY – Kindred Lubeck, the founder of Artifex Fine Jewelry, visited the Town & Country offices yesterday to discuss the buzz around Taylor Swift‘s custom engagement ring. Lubeck, 30, created the ring designed for Swift’s fiancé, NFL star Travis Kelce, who proposed recently.

In a recent interview on Heart Breakfast, Swift, 35, gushed about the ring, mentioning how she had previously shown Kelce a video of Lubeck’s work. “When I saw the ring, I was like, ‘I know who made this, I know who made this,’ and also, ‘You listen to me!” Swift said. She expressed how meaningful it was that Kelce paid attention to her preferences, saying, “It was like, you really know me. I didn’t know what I would want, but he did somehow, and that’s kind of a flex.”

Lubeck described the reaction to the ring as “totally surreal.” She emphasized her fondness for how the materials reflect light, providing unique beauty to each piece. Lubeck shared that her aim is to understand what each couple values in their rings. “There are some people who want a classic look, while others want something totally different,” she explained.

Looking ahead, Lubeck shared her excitement about working on new designs for earrings inspired by door knockers she saw in Italy. “What if I made all these different pairings of colored stones and a mechanism similar to that of a door knocker? I have some in the works already,” she commented.

Swift’s love for her engagement ring has been apparent, as she has shown it off during several interviews. “I could just watch it like it’s a TV,” she joked on The Graham Norton Show. Swift and Kelce announced their engagement in August with a playful post on Instagram, and they have been enjoying their engagement journey leading up to their wedding planning.
