Joe Jonas Discusses Challenges of Dating After Sophie Turner Divorce

Los Angeles, CA — Joe Jonas shared insights into his dating life two years after his divorce from actress Sophie Turner. In an interview published on October 20, the singer revealed that his busy touring schedule with the Jonas Brothers complicates his search for romance.

“Five shows in a row doesn’t make it easy to meet someone for coffee,” Jonas said, expressing the difficulties of finding time to connect with new people. Although he is not currently using dating apps, he mentioned having met some potential partners through social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok.

Jonas, who finalized his divorce from Turner in September 2024, spoke fondly of their co-parenting arrangement. The couple shares two daughters: Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3. “I have a beautiful co-parenting relationship that I’m really grateful for,” he stated during a conversation with Jay Shetty earlier this year. “Having an incredible mom, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true.”

While both he and Turner have moved on, with Turner dating British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson, Jonas highlighted the importance of strong female role models for their children. “As young girls, looking up to great women is what I want for them,” he explained.

Jonas also addressed recent rumors regarding his substance use during concerts after a viral video raised concerns. “I’ve never touched cocaine in my life,” he firmly stated in an interview published on October 21, clarifying that if he had, it would not be done so publicly. Despite denying drug use, he reflected on his past experiences with substances while growing up.

As he navigates the challenges of dating, Jonas remains optimistic about the future, citing a personal experience that inspired a song on his latest album. He acknowledged that re-entering the dating scene can be intimidating but emphasized the need to be open to love again.
