Kansas Jayhawks Vs Arkansas Razorbacks Basketball Exhibition Game

The highly anticipated preseason charity exhibition game between the No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks and the No. 16 Arkansas Razorbacks is set to take place on Friday, October 25, at 8:00 p.m. CT at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This matchup marks the second consecutive year that Kansas enters the season as the top-ranked team in the AP Men's Basketball Preseason Poll.

The game will feature a unique quarter format, with fouls resetting at the start of each quarter, a strategy designed by Kansas head coach Bill Self to minimize the impact of foul trouble on key players, especially given the injury concerns for both teams. Additionally, the exhibition may include situational practice segments to allow the teams to work through specific in-game scenarios.

Kansas, led by Hunter Dickinson, who was named the Big 12 Preseason Player of the Year, will face a significant test against an Arkansas team that has undergone significant changes. The Razorbacks are now under the leadership of John Calipari, who joined the team after 15 seasons with Kentucky. Calipari has brought D.J. Wagner, a key player from his previous team, to Arkansas, adding depth to the Razorbacks’ roster.

In a show of team spirit, Arkansas players and coaches delivered pizzas to students who camped outside Bud Walton Arena in anticipation of the game.

The game will be broadcast on the SEC Network and can also be streamed via WatchESPN or Sling for those without traditional cable or satellite packages).
