LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Kanye West sparked controversy after briefly sharing a provocative photo of his wife, Bianca Censori, on social media before quickly deleting it. The 47-year-old rapper posted the image, which showed the 29-year-old Australian architectural designer in a revealing bikini, during their luxury Maldives vacation to celebrate her birthday.

The photo, which appeared on West’s Instagram Stories, was captured by fan accounts before its removal. One account, ‘kanyesgirlfriends,’ reposted the image, showcasing Censori in the skimpy two-piece swimwear. The couple had been staying at a $6,000-a-night five-star resort on a private island, where they also rang in the New Year.

West also shared a black-and-white video of Censori soaking in a bathtub, captioning it, “Happy birthday baby.” In the clip, Censori’s modesty was preserved as she covered herself with her knees, while her raven hair was pulled back to highlight her face.

An insider revealed that the couple initially planned to celebrate Censori’s birthday in Dubai but opted for the Maldives instead. “Kanye was really happy to see there were no paparazzi on the island, and he’s been welcomed by a lot of fans,” the source said. The couple reportedly enjoyed villa hopping, relaxing, and playing video games like ‘The Last of Us 2‘ on a PS5 during their stay.

West even performed an intimate DJ set at the resort, where he played a Taylor Swift song despite their ongoing rivalry. The rapper also shared snaps of the couple posing in their villa, with Censori wearing a form-fitting black dress.

Censori, born on January 5, 1995, in Melbourne, Australia, joined West’s Yeezy brand as the “head of architecture” in November 2020 after he reportedly reached out to her via direct message. The couple married under a confidential marriage license in Palo Alto, California, on December 20, 2022, just one month after West’s divorce from Kim Kardashian was finalized.
