Big Brother Naija Season 9 Grand Finale

Kingsley Oritsetimeyin, popularly known as Kellyrae, emerged victorious in the ninth season of the reality TV show Big Brother Naija, titled “No Loose Guard.” Kellyrae beat out seven other finalists to secure a cash prize of N60 million, along with an SUV and other rewards.

The thrilling finale featured eight housemates who vied for the ultimate prize. Alongside Kellyrae, the finalists included Wanni, Victoria, Onyeka, Ozee, Sooj, Nelly, and Anita. The competition was intense, with Sooj being the first to be evicted, followed by Anita and Ozee.

Nelly soon exited the stage, leaving Victoria, Kellyrae, Wanni, and Onyeka in the running. As the finale progressed, Onyeka was next to leave, followed by Wanni. Ultimately, Kellyrae was crowned the winner.

The grand finale was hosted by Chukwuebuka Obi-Uchendu and featured live performances by well-known artists Joseph Akinfewa-Donus, also known as Joeboy, and Chimamanda Chukwuma, popularly referred to as Qing Madi. The event offered viewers a nostalgic recap of the more memorable moments from the show.

“No Loose Guard” premiered on July 24, 2024, and it featured a variety of dynamic housemates. These included 14 pairs, ranging from twins to friends and even couples, who faced numerous challenges over several weeks. Some tasks rewarded participants with immunity or cash prizes.
