Australia Cup 2024 Final

A total of 758 teams from every state and territory across Australia embarked on the Australia Cup journey at the start of 2024. At present, only two clubs remain to compete for the title: Melbourne Victory FC and Macarthur FC. The victorious team will not only be crowned the Australia Cup 2024 Winner but will also secure a spot in the 2025-26 AFC Champions League Two.

Melbourne Victory FC was the first to earn a place in the Australia Cup 2024 Final, securing a victory over Adelaide United FC on Saturday evening. This marks Melbourne Victory’s third appearance in an Australia Cup Final and the first since their triumph in 2021.

On Sunday, Macarthur FC secured their spot in the Final through a decisive late penalty against South Melbourne FC, a team from Football Victoria. Macarthur FC aims to claim their second Australia Cup title, having previously won the Cup in 2022.

Melbourne Victory FC holds a solid track record in the Finals, with victories in 2015 and 2021, making them one of the most successful teams in the modern era of the Australia Cup. Macarthur FC, on the other hand, brings the momentum of a more recent Cup success to the Final.

Tickets for the Australia Cup 2024 Final start at $10 for Juniors, $15 for Concession, $20 for Adults, and $50 for Families. Pre-sale for Football Account members began at 10:00 am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on Wednesday, 25 September, while general public sales commenced at 4:00 pm AEST on the same day, available through Ticketek.

The Final, originally scheduled for Saturday, 5 October, was moved to avoid potential scheduling conflicts and to ensure venue availability. This rescheduling aims to provide fans with the optimal opportunity to attend without competing against other commitments.

The location and venue for the Australia Cup Final are determined by Football Australia, taking into consideration venue suitability and availability. The match is set to take place at AAMI Park in Melbourne on Sunday, 29 September 2024, with kick-off scheduled for 7:10 pm AEST and gates opening at 5:45 pm AEST.
