Nelly Korda’s Champions Dinner Celebrates Czech Roots with Lavish Menu

THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Nelly Korda, the reigning champion of the Chevron Championship, is set to host a champions dinner that celebrates her Czech heritage with an extravagant menu. Scheduled for April 18, 2025, at the prestigious Club at Carlton Woods, the dinner will feature a blend of Central European delicacies designed to impress her fellow LPGA champions.
Korda, fresh off a successful season where she secured seven tour victories, has collaborated with acclaimed chef Thomas A. Keller to create a menu that reflects her culinary roots. The dinner will kick off with indulgent caviar and a rich cream of mushroom soup, followed by a sumptuous main course of herb-roasted fillet from Snake River Farms accompanied by American Wagyu beef and a unique Sauce ‘Goulash.’
The main course will also be served with a Greek ‘Deli’ salad, roasted asparagus, garnet yam gratin, and sautéed mushrooms. To finish off the evening, guests will enjoy a dessert of spring berry dumplings, a nod to Korda’s childhood favorite, featuring toasted poppy seeds and a drizzle of Tahitian vanilla anglaise. This dish pays homage to her Czech roots and adds a personal touch to the dining experience.
“I put a lot of trust—and I never doubted—into Chef Keller. It’s going to be amazing, I know it,” Korda said, expressing her excitement about the innovative menu.
The inaugural champions dinner at the Chevron Championship mirrors the beloved tradition of The Masters, where past champions are invited to celebrate their legacies. Korda’s dedication to creating a memorable culinary experience has added an element of anticipation to the upcoming tournament, with fans excited about both the gourmet offerings and the top-tier golfing competition.
Korda’s lavish menu stands in contrast to Scottie Scheffler’s more traditional and modest options served at the Masters Dinner, showcasing her flair for creativity and sophistication. As the golfing community looks forward to the Champions Dinner, it is clear that Korda’s culinary celebration will not only highlight her Czech culture but also her remarkable achievements in the sport.
As the date approaches, Korda’s anticipation is palpable, suggesting that the dinner will set a new standard for future champions dinners in the LPGA. Her blend of cultural homage and culinary excellence promises an unforgettable evening of celebration and camaraderie among the elite of women’s golf.
