Splendour In The Grass, the renowned music festival held annually at North Byron Parklands, has made the unexpected decision to cancel its highly anticipated 2024 edition. The festival, known for its stellar line-ups and vibrant atmosphere, was set to showcase a diverse array of artists, including headliners like Kylie Minogue, Future, and Arcade Fire.

Just two weeks after unveiling the official line-up, Splendour In The Grass organizers announced the cancellation of this year’s event, leaving fans disappointed and artists like Turnstile, Angie McMahon, and Baby Gravy (bbno$ and Yung Gravy) unable to perform as planned.

With acts such as Middle Kids, girl in red, and many more originally slated to take the stage, the festival’s abrupt cancellation comes as a surprise following the recent trend of major events outside capital cities pulling the plug on upcoming festivities.

Notably, Splendour In The Grass is not the only festival to face cancellation this year, as its Secret Sounds counterpart, which also presents the event, called off its own 2023 edition after nearly three decades of successful festivals.
