Sutter Health Healthcare Workers Tiktok Video

Santa Barbara, California – Sutter Health terminated employees involved in a viral TikTok video showing healthcare workers posing near what appeared to be bodily fluids at the Pesetas Urgent Care clinic. The video, initially posted over Labor Day weekend by a former worker named Angie, drew widespread criticism online.

The TikTok account @angieuncut featured images of smiling workers in scrubs near stained exam chairs, with captions questioning whether patients leave ‘gifts.’ Many social media users condemned the actions as “dehumanizing” and “unprofessional,” demanding Sutter Health take disciplinary action.

After the video gained traction, Sutter Health confirmed that the footage was indeed from the Santa Barbara clinic and stated that the individual who posted it was no longer employed there. In a statement, the organization emphasized the importance of patient trust and dignity, calling the video “disrespectful.”

On Tuesday, Sutter Health launched an investigation and placed employees shown in the video on administrative leave. By Wednesday, the organization decided to terminate all staff involved, stating their behavior was unacceptable and violated company policies.

The spokesperson said, “Protecting the trust of those we serve is our highest priority.” Following the incident, they pledged to reinforce policies among team members to ensure high standards of professionalism and respect.

As of now, Sutter Health has not publicly identified the terminated employees. The TikTok account, @angieuncut, has since been locked and its content deleted.
