The Umbrella Academy Returns For Its Final Season

The fourth and final season of The Umbrella Academy is almost here! Fans of the show can look forward to the series returning to Netflix on August 8, wrapping up the adventure of the Hargreeves siblings.

Originally premiered in February 2019, The Umbrella Academy is a superhero drama based on the comic book series created by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá. The story follows a group of estranged siblings with unique powers, who come together after their father’s death. Season 4 will pick up right where season three left off, with some surprising twists.

This season introduces a new timeline orchestrated by Reginald, their father, played by Colm Feore. In this new reality, the siblings find themselves without their powers. It raises the question: how will they confront new threats to their existence without their unique abilities?

Emmy Raver-Lampman, who plays Allison Hargreeves, teased that Season 4 is filled with the classic, quirky family drama and loads of fun moments that fans love. David Castañeda, who portrays Diego Hargreeves, described this season as his favorite yet, which has him even more excited for viewers.

The familiar faces will be back, including Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, Robert Sheehan, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, and Ritu Arya. This season will also see some new characters, with Nick Offerman, Megan Mullally, and David Cross joining the cast.

The final season consists of six episodes, making it the shortest one of the series, as previous seasons had ten episodes each. All episodes of Season 4 will be available for streaming on Netflix simultaneously when it premieres on August 8.
