MobLand Season 1 Free on Paramount Plus and Pluto TV Before September Return

If you’ve been waiting for a reason to check out one of Paramount Plus’s biggest hits, the timing just got a lot better. MobLand, the crime drama starring Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren, is now streaming its entire first season for free — no subscription required.

The show, which first premiered in 2025, quickly became the second-most-watched series on Paramount Plus. It trails only Taylor Sheridan’s Landman, a fact that might surprise viewers who assume Sheridan dominates the platform. But MobLand is a different beast, and it’s about to get a whole lot more accessible.

Starting Tuesday, Aug. 18, season one of MobLand will be available on Paramount Plus’s Free Content Hub. The platform occasionally offers a taste of its original series with an episode or two, but dropping a full season is a rare move. And for those who prefer other streaming routes, the first season will also show up free on Pluto TV beginning Monday, Aug. 31. You can find it on Paramount Plus channels on Amazon, Apple and Roku, as well as the Paramount Plus YouTube channel. The free window runs through Wednesday, Sept. 30.

For the uninitiated, MobLand centers on Harry Da Souza, played with typical intensity by Tom Hardy. Harry is a mob fixer for the Harrigan family, a criminal dynasty led by Conrad and Maeve Harrigan — brought to life by Brosnan and Mirren. His job is to keep the family’s empire safe, no matter the cost, and press materials don’t shy away from the word “carnage.” That should give you a sense of the show’s tone.

Behind the scenes, the talent is just as stacked. Guy Ritchie serves as executive producer and directed the first two episodes. Ronan Bennett created the series, and Jez Butterworth — whose screenwriting credits include Edge of Tomorrow and the James Bond film Spectre — is the showrunner.

The cast doesn’t stop with the three leads. Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Jasmine Jobson, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Johnny Flynn, Ophelia Lovibond, Janet McTeer and Toby Jones all appear in the series, giving it the kind of depth that rewards repeat viewing.

Season two of MobLand is already on the horizon. It arrives on Paramount Plus on Friday, Sept. 18, with ten episodes rolling out weekly through Nov. 20. With the first season free to stream ahead of that debut, there’s no better time to catch up.
