Drake says he will be hitting the road soon. Ahead of his FOMO livestream, the rapper shared his plans to go out on a tour in 2027. “Obviously [a] tour is coming and there’s other things on the horizon. Some big shows,” he told CTV’s etalk. “I mean, of course, we’ll be out, you know, 2027 to see everybody again across the world,” he added. “Hopefully, you’ll watch FOMO and we’ll see you on tour soon. You already know Big Six God, Big T-Rex, original nostalgia bosses here. ”
At his “FOMO” premiere, held hours before the official livestream, Drizzy made a revelation that fans have been waiting for. The artist is going on tour very soon. It appears as though the tour will take place in 2027, and the man has a few big tricks up his sleeve. Of course, we don’t know the scope of the tour just yet. We also don’t know the exact dates or locations. However, after dropping three albums worth of music this year, something has to give.
Drake has dropped ICEMAN, HABIBTI, and MAID OF HONOUR this year, and he is not stopping now. Drake’s FOMO, previously billed by the Iceman artist as a self-funded “not-so-short film,” is almost here. Tuesday night at 10:30 p. m. Eastern, the film will hit YouTube and other platforms, revealing what, exactly, Drake meant when he teased it as telling “a story about making the absolute most of it all in one summer. ” In the same pre-release statement, he connected the sense of passion he feels for this project to one from much earlier in his career, “Best I Ever Had. ”
The song, released way back in 2009, saw the artist formerly known as Kanye West enlisted to helm its official video. “They keep saying our genre is dying,” Drake told fans on Monday (Sept. 14), roughly 24 hours before FOMO’s launch. “Videos don’t matter. Nobody is watching, nobody is listening. I still care. As much as I did on the set of ‘Best I Ever Had. ’ So be kind and rewind. ”
Drake’s last North American tour was his It’s All a Blur Tour, which ran from July 2023 to April 2024 and featured guests J. Cole and 21 Savage. He briefly toured Australia in February 2025 with the Anita Max Win Tour. Drake then performed a series of co-headlining concerts, Some Special Shows 4 U, with PartyNextDoor throughout Europe from July to September 2025.
We last got some cinematic Drake during a livestream that was part of the rollout of his triad of new albums earlier this year. Shane Gillis, star of Netflix’s Tires, was among those who popped up for a cameo, playing a cop whose car is commandeered by Drake’s son, Adonis Graham. Now, we have FOMO, available to watch below.
Unfortunately for fans who want to watch the “FOMO” stream, there have been a couple of delays tonight. It was supposed to begin at 9 PM EST. However, it was eventually delayed to 10 PM. Now, it is slated for 10:30 PM and will begin in a few moments.
Drake previously told fans the film marked a self-funded endeavor. “This is self-funded surrealism,” Drizzy wrote ahead of the film’s launch on Tuesday (Sept. 15). The Toronto rapper has confirmed what the mystery project is after sharing a teaser trailer.
