Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul has sold his historic Los Angeles home for $7.495 million, more than a year after he first put it on the market. The 47-year-old actor initially listed the property, known as the Seyler House, for just shy of $10 million in July 2025. When that price did not bring a buyer, Paul lowered the asking figure to around $8.2 million in January. Property records show the estate changed hands for $7.495 million on Oct. 6. Ben Belack of Serhant held the listing.
Belack told Realtor.com that selling the home was bittersweet. ‘Of course I do this for a living, but selling this property was bittersweet. I absolutely loved going there and showing it to people, and I’ll miss its palpable and restorative energy. I hope the new owners invite me over sometime,’ he said.
Situated just below Griffith Park, the sprawling estate encompasses 4,026 square feet of living space and sits on more than an acre. It has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, along with a swimming pool, a cold plunge, a fire pit, an outdoor fireplace, and a koi pond. The grounds also include a garden dining patio and an amphitheater tucked into the lush property. Yahoo reports the Los Feliz home was built in 1922 as a Spanish Colonial Revival residence with exposed wood-beam ceilings, stained-glass windows, hand-painted details, and vintage tile.
The house carries plenty of Hollywood history. Before Paul called it home, stars including Robert Pattinson, Jim Parsons, Noah Wyle, Tim Curry, cinematographer Robert Richardson, and NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had reportedly lived at the estate. Paul bought the property from Jim Parsons in April 2019 for $6.9 million. Parsons had purchased it from Robert Pattinson in January 2014 for nearly $6.4 million, and Pattinson bought it in September 2011 for nearly $6.3 million. Tim Curry sold the home in July 2000 for $3 million after restoring its original details.
Paul’s decision to sell came amid a major lifestyle change. The Emmy winner and his wife, Lauren Parsekian, relocated their family to Paris after the devastating Los Angeles wildfires in early 2025. Paul, his wife, their daughter Story Annabelle, and their son Ryden Caspain moved from Los Angeles to Paris. Paul told the Daily Mail, ‘When the fires happened in LA, we just knew that we were done with LA, so we sold our house in LA and moved to Paris.’ He called Paris awesome and said he can only say a couple words in French, including bonjour. The actor noted that he wanted his children to experience life abroad. ‘We just always wanted to be around a completely different culture,’ he told the outlet. Paul also owns a two-bedroom, two-bathroom home in Ojai, California, which he purchased in November 2021 for $3.5 million, as well as two homes in Idaho.
