Johnny Wactor Final Film Premiere

Los Angeles, California — Nearly a year after the killing of 37-year-old actor Johnny Wactor, his last film, “Ciao, Mama,” premiered at the Dances with Films festival. Wactor, known for his role in “General Hospital,” was remembered fondly by his family and friends at the event.

Johnny’s mother, Scarlett, and brother, Lance, attended the premiere, flying in to honor him. Scarlett wore waterproof mascara, prepared for the possibility of tears. She expressed her emotions, saying, “It’ll be great to hear his voice and to see him.” She reflected on how excited he would have been on this special occasion.

Scarlett conveyed her mixed emotions, feeling thrilled to celebrate Johnny’s work while lamenting his absence. “I wish he could be here,” she said. On the following Thursday, she is scheduled to attend a court hearing for two suspects accused of his murder in downtown Los Angeles.

“It’s like a stab in the heart again,” Scarlett stated, discussing the pain of seeing the suspects. “There’s no remorse, there’s no care.”

In a heartfelt moment, Lance shared that he contributed to the film after Johnny’s passing, revealing, “Apparently I sound just like my brother, so I had to do a couple of lines, voiceover some scenes.”

Johnny’s co-star, Micah Joe Parker, and director, Luca Perito, also attended the premiere. Micah emphasized the event as a tribute to Wactor, saying, “It’s a tribute and goodbye to our friend and it’s an invitation as well to leave a legacy.”
