Marvel’s Thunderbolts Arrives on Digital July 1 and Physical Media July 29

BURBANK, Calif. — Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated film, Thunderbolts, will be available for digital rental and purchase starting July 1. The movie will then hit 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on July 29, 2025. Directed by Jake Schreier, the film features an unconventional group of antiheroes, including Yelena Belova (Florence Pugh), Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan), and Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen).
Thunderbolts follows this unique team as they embark on a dangerous mission after falling into a death trap set by Valentina Allegra de Fontaine. During this adventure, the misfit antiheroes explore the darkest aspects of their pasts and make a choice: unite for redemption or fall apart.
The digital release offers a suite of bonus content, including deleted scenes, commentary from Schreier, and a behind-the-scenes featurette that delves into the film’s production. Fans can enjoy outtakes in the gag reel and insights into the characters Bob, Sentry, and The Void, portrayed by newcomer Lewis Pullman.
Marvel is also introducing a limited-edition SteelBook version of the 4K UHD release, featuring custom artwork, along with a Walmart exclusive pop-up Blu-ray package. These limited versions highlight the strength and unity of the Thunderbolts, reflecting their determination amidst challenges.
For viewers in the UK, physical copies will be available starting August 4, following a similar trend seen with other Marvel releases. Digital versions are accessible on platforms like Prime Video and Apple TV.
