Hamas Agrees to Hostage Release Under U.S. Peace Proposal Conditions

Washington, D.C. — Hamas announced on Friday that it agrees to release all remaining Israeli hostages if Israel withdraws from Gaza and specific field conditions are met. Hamas also indicated further negotiations are necessary to finalize the deal. They expressed readiness to hand over the administration of the Gaza Strip to a Palestinian technocratic body, despite not agreeing to disarmament or governance changes mentioned in Trump’s 20-point plan.

Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces are escalating their operations in Gaza City, prompting criticism from the international community regarding humanitarian issues.
