Brittany Snow Remembers Teen Nights with Hilary Duff and Others
Los Angeles, CA — Brittany Snow, reflecting on her teenage years, shared stories of her time spent in exclusive teen nightclubs while filming the NBC drama “American Dreams.” In a recent episode of the Las Culturistas podcast, the 39-year-old actress opened up about the unique social scene of young stars in Hollywood.
Snow was just 15 when she began filming the pilot for “American Dreams,” which aired from 2002 to 2005. She described the vibrant nightlife that included special clubs exclusively for teens in the entertainment industry. “If you were on a show like Lizzie McGuire or any of those WB series, we were all back there in this room… together. Just drinking soda,” Snow recalled.
Co-host Bowen Yang joked about the beverages, asking, “Quote-unquote soda?” to which Snow firmly stated, “Definitely soda. We were 15, 16 years old.” She explained how being a part of a show gave them the privilege to bypass long lines at some of the most popular spots.
Snow reminisced about her fellow young stars, including Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan, as well as Evan Rachel Wood and David Gallagher from “Seventh Heaven.” However, she clarified that Jessica Biel was notably absent during those outings, saying, “It was just David.”
The actress admitted that her memories from those nights are a bit cloudy. “I just remember being so excited to go back in this room,” she said with a laugh. “I think I was just looking around like, ‘I, too, could one day be on the WB.’”
Before landing her breakthrough role on “American Dreams,” Snow revealed that her aspirations were much simpler. Growing up near Tampa, Florida, she wanted to be on “The Mickey Mouse Club.” “That was what I aspired to be — that’s all I wanted,” she shared.
Snow’s candid reflections offer a glimpse into the unique culture of young actors in Hollywood and the formative experiences that shaped her career.
