A political storm has ensued following Rahul Gandhi‘s recent remarks in the Lok Sabha, with Bihar BJP leaders strongly reacting to his speech. Samrat Choudhary, the state BJP chief and Deputy Chief Minister, criticized Gandhi for his comments, calling them disrespectful to the entire Hindu community.

Choudhary stated that labeling all Hindus as violent and hateful, as done by Rahul Gandhi, was a direct insult to the Hindu society. He emphasized that Gandhi’s speech reflected his continual disrespectful attitude towards the Hindu community, indicating a lack of accountability and remorse.

Mangal Pandey, the Health and Agriculture Minister, echoed Choudhary’s sentiments in the Lok Sabha, denouncing Gandhi’s assertion that Hindu society is inherently violent.

Pandey emphasized that it was not just an irresponsible and unconstitutional address as the Leader of the Opposition in the Parliament, but also a direct insult to the Hindu people across the nation. He urged Gandhi to publicly apologize to the country and the Hindu society.

Furthermore, Pandey highlighted Gandhi’s contradictory behaviors, where he showcases himself as a Hindu by displaying images of Hindu deities like Lord Shiva but then proceeds to insult the Hindu community at large, casting aspersions on the BJP and RSS members.

The BJP leaders concluded by asserting that such rhetoric by the opposition leader not only diminishes his credibility but also offends the sentiments of over a billion Hindus in the country, underscoring that the public will not tolerate such disrespect.
