Formula 1 and the FIA have confirmed that the Bahrain International Circuit will host the Aramco Pre-Season Testing from February 26th to 28th, 2025. This announcement precedes the start of the FIA Formula One World Championship season in Melbourne from March 14th to 16th.

The Bahrain International Circuit, first introduced to Formula 1 in 2004, has been a prominent testing venue for several years. Its weather consistency, combined with a track that features a variety of high-speed and low-speed corners and two extensive straights, allows teams to effectively test their vehicles and gather vital data before the season commences.

In its 20-year history, the Bahrain Grand Prix has celebrated victories from renowned drivers such as Lewis Hamilton, Fernando Alonso, Max Verstappen, and Charles Leclerc, each representing five different teams. The 2025 season marks the 75th anniversary of Formula 1, which will start in Australia, followed by races in China and Japan. This season also emphasizes a commitment to sustainability, as a portion of the freight will remain in Bahrain for the Bahrain Grand Prix scheduled for April 11th to 13th, 2025.

The upcoming season will also feature six sprint races, further enhancing the excitement of the championship. Formula 1’s sustainability goals align with their aim to achieve Net Zero by 2030, demonstrating a concerted effort towards environmentally conscious sporting events.
