Nashville, TN — The Nashville Predators return to Bridgestone Arena tonight to kick off a five-game homestand by hosting the Anaheim Ducks at 7 p.m. CT. This is their first of three matchups during the season, with the teams set to meet again in April.

The Predators are looking to improve after a challenging four-game road trip in Canada, where they recorded just one win, going 1-2-1 against Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, and Winnipeg. “You always want to make your home ice a tough place to play. We’ve got a crowd that helps that for sure,” said Preds defenseman Nick Perbix. He emphasized the significance of turning home games into victories, especially after their last road trip.

Preds Head Coach Andrew Brunette echoed Perbix’s sentiments, noting the importance of a strong start. “Our start is going to be important after a long road trip. To me, it’s just one game at a time. We’ve just got a really fast team coming in, and our mindset has to be right going into tonight’s game,” Brunette said.

Tonight’s game will feature some roster changes. Jonathan Marchessault is day-to-day with a lower-body injury and will not play, while Nic Hague remains on Injured Reserve with an upper-body injury. Juuse Saros is set to start as the goaltender for Nashville.

In their last outing against Winnipeg, Nashville lost 4-1, with Michael Bunting scoring the team’s only goal. Marchessault currently leads the Predators with four points but will be absent tonight. In addition, the Ducks are coming off a tough 2-1 overtime loss against Chicago.

The Predators have a historical advantage over the Ducks, holding a 39-36-2-11 all-time record against them, including a solid home record of 25-14-2-3 at Bridgestone Arena.

Coverage of tonight’s game begins at 6:30 p.m. CT, with the Predators LIVE! pregame show on FanDuel Sports Network South. The game will also be broadcast on various channels, including ESPN+.
