Tim Robinson’s HBO Comedy ‘The Chair Company’ Unveils Trailer

LOS ANGELES, CA — Tim Robinson‘s upcoming HBO comedy series, ‘The Chair Company,’ is set to premiere on Sunday, October 12, at 10 p.m. The show revolves around a character named William Ronald Trosper, played by Robinson, who investigates a wide-ranging criminal conspiracy after an embarrassing incident at work.
The official trailer, released by HBO on Thursday, reveals the tone of the series, which features a blend of humor and suspense. In the trailer, Trosper’s investigation unfolds as a ‘massive problem’ he believes could lead to ‘mass casualties’ dominates his life.
Robinson co-created ‘The Chair Company’ with Zach Kanin, his writing partner from their time together on ‘Saturday Night Live.’ The series will consist of eight episodes, airing weekly until its season finale on November 30. Along with Robinson, the main cast includes Lake Bell as Barb Trosper, Sophia Lillis as Natalie Trosper, Will Price as Seth Trosper, and Joseph Tudisco as Mike Santini. Lou Diamond Phillips will recur as Jeff Levjman.
The collaboration marks another project for Robinson and Kanin, who previously co-created ‘Detroiters‘ for Comedy Central and the acclaimed Netflix series ‘I Think You Should Leave,’ which recently released its third season in May 2023.
‘The Chair Company’ promises a unique blend of comedy and intrigue as viewers follow Trosper’s harebrained quest to uncover the conspiracy, set against the backdrop of his chaotic personal life.
