WWE Night of Champions 2025: Match Card and Highlights

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — WWE will hold its latest premium live event, Night of Champions, this Saturday, June 28, 2025, featuring a mix of title matches and the finals of major tournaments. This year’s event will take place in Riyadh.
The night will showcase the finals of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments. In the men’s final, Cody Rhodes will face Randy Orton, while Jade Cargill will compete against Asuka in the women’s final. The winners will earn a shot at their respective brand’s world champion during the SummerSlam event.
One of the highlighted matches will see John Cena defend his undisputed WWE Championship against CM Punk. Cena has stated he aims to retire as the “last real champion,” prompting Punk to challenge him. The rivalry dates back to their famous match in 2011.

Rhea Ripley will face Raquel Rodriguez in a Street Fight, as their rivalry intensifies following injuries sustained by Liv Morgan, who has been sidelined for several months.
Lastly, Sami Zayn has issued a challenge to Karrion Kross after a series of psychological tactics by Kross left Zayn irate.
