Bryan Johnson’s Latest Anti-Aging Experiment Ends in Disaster
Bryan Johnson, a 47-year-old American entrepreneur and anti-aging guru, has once again made headlines for his daring and sometimes risky wellness experiments. Johnson, known for his “Project Blueprint” aimed at reversing his biological age, recently shared alarming images of an allergic reaction he suffered after an “age-defying” treatment.
The procedure involved injecting someone else’s fat into his face in an attempt to achieve a more youthful, “baby-like” appearance. However, the treatment took a disastrous turn, resulting in severe swelling in his upper face that temporarily impaired his vision. Johnson shared the shocking selfies on his Instagram account, where he has over 955,000 followers, detailing the immediate and severe reaction that occurred just 30 minutes after the treatment.
This incident is not the first of its kind for Johnson. He has previously involved his teenage son and father in a tri-generational blood-swapping procedure, where plasma from his son was infused into his veins, and his plasma was transferred to his father. This experiment, aimed at “youthifying” their bodies through the infusion of “young blood,” was later deemed ineffective and potentially harmful by the FDA.
Johnson’s anti-aging pursuits under “Project Blueprint” include a range of unconventional methods such as caloric restriction, gene therapy injections, and a rigid diet featuring Blueprint-branded supplements. He spends approximately $2 million annually on medical diagnostics and treatments as part of his meticulously crafted regimen to slow or reverse the aging process.
Despite the recent setback, Johnson remains committed to his anti-aging goals and continues to share his experiences and diet plans publicly. Recently, he posted his meal plan on social media, which included dishes like chickpea veggie frittata, lemon red lentil soup, and vegetable stir-fry with cauliflower rice, drawing comparisons to Indian cuisine from his followers.
