Emilie Kiser Shares Holiday Reflections After Son Trigg’s Tragic Death
CHANDLER, Arizona — Influencer Emilie Kiser opened up about her family’s holiday experience as they cope with the tragic loss of their son, Trigg. In a recent TikTok video shared on December 24, Kiser showcased highlights from a holiday road trip with her husband, Brady Kiser, and their nine-month-old son, Theodore, affectionately called Teddy.
Kiser, 26, expressed gratitude for the support they have received during this challenging time. She captioned her video, ‘Hope you all have a safe holiday, and as always, thank you for the love, support, and kind words. They mean the world, always ❤️.’
The couple has been working on their relationship since Trigg’s tragic death, which occurred in May when he was found unconscious in the family pool. A source revealed to Us Weekly that they are prioritizing their family bond during the holiday season, aiming to create a sense of normalcy for Teddy.
Emilie took a social media break following the loss but began sharing her journey back online in August. ‘Loss of this magnitude feels impossible to put into words,’ she stated in a heartfelt Instagram post, describing the overwhelming grief she experiences daily. ‘We miss him every second of every day and continuing forward often feels unbearable.’
In her recent updates, she has reflected on the deep feelings associated with their family’s loss. Emilie mentioned how the holidays have felt heavy and filled with reminders of Trigg, stating, ‘I just didn’t want to force a normal Christmas because it is not a normal Christmas.’
Although Emilie has shared moments of happiness, she continues to navigate the complexity of emotions. ‘One of the hardest parts of loss is allowing yourself to feel happy again,’ she shared in one of her Instagram stories. ‘It’s so important to allow yourself to really sit in those moments.’
The Kiser family’s journey through grief has gained public attention as they have begun to open up about their experiences. As they approach a new year, Emilie remains hopeful that sharing her journey will help others facing similar challenges.
