Frontier Airlines Launches New Nonstop Flights to Santiago, Dominican Republic

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — Frontier Airlines is expanding its services from Philadelphia International Airport with new nonstop flights to Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. The first flight will take off on Dec. 18, 2025, operating twice a week.
This new route is designed to connect travelers in the Mid-Atlantic directly to one of the Dominican Republic’s fastest-growing cities. Introductory fares start at $99 one-way, making it an affordable option for those looking to explore the Caribbean.
The Dominican Republic has seen a surge in tourism, with Santiago becoming an essential part of this growth. Known as the cultural heart of the Cibao Valley, the city boasts a vibrant dining scene, colonial architecture, and access to lush landscapes like Jarabacoa and Constanza.
Santiago’s airport has experienced a significant increase in international routes over the past two years, as U.S. airlines respond to the rising demand for travel to the region. The new frontier flights add to the airport’s growing reputation as a tourism hub, complementing the more established coastal resorts across the country.
As Philadelphia International Airport adds Santiago to its list of Caribbean destinations, it reflects the increasing interest in the Dominican Republic, recognized as the most-visited destination in the Caribbean.
