Paramount+ Releases Explosive Trailers for Landman Season 2
LOS ANGELES, CA — Paramount+ has unveiled its highly anticipated trailers for the second season of the oil drama series, Landman, which stars Billy Bob Thornton. The new footage was released on October 23, 2025, and promises an explosive continuation of the series following the tumultuous events of Season 1.
In this season, Thornton reprises his role as Tommy Norris, an oil fixer navigating the cutthroat world of West Texas oilfields. Alongside him, Cami Miller, portrayed by Demi Moore, steps into a more prominent role as she takes over M-Tex Oil, the company left behind by her deceased husband, Monty.
The new season features several returning cast members including Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan, and Colm Feore. New faces join the ensemble, including Sam Elliott, who plays Tommy’s father, and other key actors from Sheridan’s previous works.
The second season is set to premiere on Sunday, November 16, with weekly episodes following. A second trailer released earlier this month reveals that Cami is grappling with allegations against M-Tex Oil for serious offenses, including embezzlement and fraud. “The sharks are circling,” warns Tommy in the trailer.
The official logline for season two reads: “As oil rises from the earth, so do secrets — and Tommy Norris’ breaking point may be closer than he realizes. Facing mounting pressure from M-Tex Oil, Cami Miller, and the shadow of his kin, survival in West Texas isn’t noble — it’s brutal.”
Landman is produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios, and Sheridan’s Bosque Ranch Productions. The series reflects the modern challenges of seeking fortune among roughnecks and billionaires, with themes that touch on climate, the economy, and geopolitics.
