Remo Stars‘ technical adviser, Daniel Ogunmodede, has rejoined the team following his return from international duty. Ogunmodede, who serves as an assistant coach for Nigeria’s national team, the Super Eagles, had been away for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya.

The promising tactician resumed his role with the Sky Blue Stars as they prepared for their matchday seven fixture against Plateau United on Tuesday afternoon. His presence is expected to boost the club’s performance as they compete in Nigeria’s top football division.

Ogunmodede communicated his return to the team via social media. He expressed gratitude with a message on X, stating, “No Place Like Home. Thankful For Life. Thank You Nigerians for Your Prayers and Support. Together We Will Always Overcome.” His statement reflects his dedication to both the national team and his club duties.

During his absence, Remo Stars secured a decisive 3-0 victory over Nasarawa United last Sunday, showcasing their resilience in Ogunmodede’s temporary absence.
