Savannah, Georgia – The Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) has announced its honorees for the 2025 SCAD Savannah Film Festival, set to run from October 25 to November 1. This year’s festival will highlight acclaimed filmmakers, actors, and producers whose works have shaped cinema over the past year.

“The 2025 SCAD Savannah Film Festival brings together a constellation of cinematic luminaries who have captivated audiences,” said Christina Routhier, Senior Executive Director of the festival. “This is more than a celebration for our students; it’s an opportunity to engage with those who inspire them.”

The festival will feature award presentations, moderated conversations, and master classes. Among the honorees, Dylan O’Brien will receive the Lumiere Award during a screening of his film, Twinless.

Other notable honorees include Will Arnett, who will receive the Luminary Award for Is This Thing On? and Rose Byrne, who will also receive a Luminary Award for If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.

Dylan’s recent film is notable for him playing two distinct characters, showcasing the versatility he developed through roles in Teen Wolf and The Maze Runner. “It’s important to us to bring unique characters to life,” Dylan said. “This film allows me to express different sides of my acting.”

The festival not only celebrates established artists but serves as a platform for emerging talent. The presence of these honorees provides students at SCAD a chance to learn directly from industry leaders.
