Meghan Markle Shares Rare Video of Archie and Lilibet in the U.K.

Meghan Markle is sharing a little sunshine of her own. On October 11, the Duchess of Sussex posted a sweet video of her children, Princess Lilibet and Prince Archie.

In the clip—soundtracked by The Temptations’ classic 1964 hit “My Girl”—the two kids are seen walking outdoors down a tree-lined path with backpacks on, as a dog trails closely behind.

In the clip shared to Meghan’s Instagram Stories Oct. 11, Archie and Lilibet can be seen taking a stroll down a picturesque walking trail in the English countryside. Set to The Temptations’ 1964 track “My Girl,” the video shows Archie riding his scooter down the path as his little sister keeps up with him on foot. Meanwhile, a group of wild deer pass in front of them in the distance. And while Meghan captured the footage as she trailed behind her little ones, their family dog Pula also joined in on the adventure, trotting in front of the As Ever founder to sniff around her new home.

The brief video that followed, shared to her Instagram Story, offers a rare glimpse of the siblings, whom she shares with her husband, Prince Harry.

The personal reflection comes after a series of posts from Meghan in support of International Day of the Girl. These included one featuring Malala to announce their partnership for Malala Fund, and another to promote a sweater designed in collaboration with—and for—Moms Offering More.

The new clip follows a series of rare glimpses Meghan has shared of her family in recent months. In September, the Duchess of Sussex posted a collection of intimate photos and videos to celebrate Prince Harry’s 42nd birthday, including moments of the duke spending time with the kids. Earlier that month, she also shared a video of the family enjoying outdoor activities in the English countryside, offering a look at their new chapter in the U.K.

The couple has largely kept their children out of the public eye since welcoming Archie in May 2019 and Lilibet in June 2021. “When your children get to a certain age,” Meghan told People last year, “you’re not just playing in the sandbox with them but almost playing in your own sandbox again—it’s super joyful.”

Harry, 42, and Meghan, 45, moved their young family back to the U.K. this past August, six years after taking a step back from their royal duties to reside in California.

Following the move, news broke that the couple decided to change Archie and Lilibet’s school two days after classes began. Indeed, they decided to make the pivot after they spoke to their security team about the “practicalities of their current arrangements,” a family spokesperson told People last month. And it seems that their new school is the perfect fit.

After all, Harry told CTV News in a Sept. 25 interview, “The kids are happy in school.” He also shared insight into the move as a whole. “The last two weeks have been—it’s been eventful,” he told HELLO! magazine in an interview published Sept. 18. “We’re getting stuck into the work. Kids are in school. We’re happy.”

And part of that happiness is thanks to the sweet rule Harry has when it comes to prioritizing his personal life. Indeed, the Duke of Sussex revealed he spends “no more than 10 days away from my wife and kids.” “The biggest factor for me is the energy and the joy and happiness that I get being with my family, especially our kids,” he explained in his MasterClass Redefining Grief: Building Resilience Through Loss, “and the joy and happiness I get by being on the ground for my work.” “This is balancing my work and the purpose behind that,” he continued, “as well as being a dad and a husband, and the sort of multi-identity elements coming together.”
