Netflix October 2025 Releases

LOS ANGELES, CA — As October 2025 approaches, Netflix is ramping up its streaming offerings, aiming to captivate viewers amid fierce competition from other platforms and the sports season. With popular sports like NCAA football, MLB playoffs, and NFL games taking center stage, the streaming giant is set to launch several new shows that promise to make choosing what to watch more challenging.

Keri Russell returns in the anticipated new season of a popular series, joined by notable actors Allison Janney and Bradley Whitford from ‘The West Wing.’ Meanwhile, another series is welcoming exciting new cast members, including Leighton Meester, who is set to appear alongside regulars Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, and Timothy Simons.

In addition to these returning favorites, Netflix has plans to debut an animated adaptation of the video game ‘Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell,’ featuring voice work from Liev Schreiber. The platform is also introducing ‘Boots,’ executive produced by the late Norman Lear, and a documentary series titled simply ‘Victoria Beckham,’ which targets fans of celebrity culture.

October’s docket isn’t limited to Netflix originals. The highly rated ‘Dark Winds‘ returns for its third season, backed by widespread critical acclaim. Viewers can also catch both seasons of the blockbuster ‘Halo‘ from Paramount+ and the latest installments of ‘The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon.’

Reality TV continues to attract audiences as well, with ‘Love Is Blind‘ Season 9 and a Halloween edition of ‘Is It Cake?’ set to premiere. Lastly, for those looking for suspense, ‘Monster: The Ed Gein Story‘ is already streaming, proving once again that Netflix will stop at nothing to keep subscribers entertained.

With such a rich array of choices, it’s clear Netflix is ready to fight for prime viewing time this October.
