Xbox Cloud Gaming Faces Challenges with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024
Xbox Cloud Gaming, a service that allows users to play Xbox games on various devices via cloud streaming, is encountering significant issues with the newly released Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Users have reported several problems when attempting to play the game through the cloud gaming platform.
One of the primary issues is related to controller functionality. Users have noted that while their controllers, including both third-party and official Xbox controllers, work seamlessly with other games and even with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, they fail to function properly with the 2024 version. The controllers often do not respond at all, or they may work intermittently, allowing users to navigate only as far as the initial startup screens before becoming unresponsive.
Another issue reported is the game’s inability to load fully through the cloud gaming service. Some users have experienced the game getting stuck at around 90% during the loading process, preventing them from playing the game at all.
These issues highlight ongoing challenges with the compatibility and performance of certain games on the Xbox Cloud Gaming platform, particularly with more demanding titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. As the service continues in its beta phase, addressing these problems will be crucial for enhancing user experience and expanding the range of playable games.
