Dakota Johnson Roasts Please Don’t Destroy in Hilarious SNL Sketch

Dakota Johnson, known for her acting talents and dry sense of humor, hilariously roasted the comedy trio Please Don’t Destroy (PDD) during a recent Saturday Night Live (SNL) sketch. The sketch, titled ‘Roast,’ showcased Johnson’s biting wit and quick comebacks.

As the sketch unfolded, Johnson visited PDD’s office for a writing session, but wasted no time in expressing her lack of interest in their videos. She humorously stated, ‘I’ve seen all your videos… They’re really not for me.’ The reaction on PDD’s faces was priceless.

As tensions escalated, the sketch turned into a witty and vicious exchange of burns between Johnson and PDD members John Higgins, Martin Herlihy, and Ben Marshall. Throughout the roast, the comedic chemistry between Johnson and PDD was electric, leaving viewers craving more.

During the sketch, PDD pitched an idea where one of them would play Johnson’s boyfriend. Johnson cheekily responded, ‘That’s the first funny thing you’ve ever said. Is it like a Make-A-Wish thing? Does my character have brain damage?’ Her humorous jabs continued as she playfully mentioned wanting to meet the “Lonelier Island” and then roasted PDD by asking if they still had to audition, or if they were simply given parts after Aubrey Plaza said no.

As the roast intensified, Johnson, Higgins, and Herlihy called for a ‘nepo truce,’ symbolized by their silver ‘nepo baby’ rings. This momentary peace united them, as they recited the slogan, ‘A foot in the door and so much more.’ Sadly, normal baby Ben Marshall was excluded from the truce, due to his non-famous parents.

The sketch showcased Johnson’s brilliant comedic timing and dry sense of humor, leaving SNL viewers in stitches. The combination of her talent and the comedic prowess of PDD made for a memorable and highly entertaining segment.

Stay tuned for more laughs as you can catch Saturday Night Live on NBC every Saturday at 11:30/10:30c, or stream it on Peacock the next day.
