Minnesota Lynx Games to Air Free on KARE 11 This Summer

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Minnesota Lynx have announced a broadcast agreement that allows fans to watch four games for free this summer on KARE 11, the NBC affiliate serving the Twin Cities. Starting June 1, Lynx fans can enjoy live coverage of the team’s games on over-the-air television, reaching approximately 1.5 million households in the area.
This partnership between KARE 11, TEGNA’s NBC affiliate, and FanDuel Sports Network aims to enhance fan access to Lynx basketball. The first game will see the Lynx visiting the Golden State Valkyries at 7:30 p.m. CT on June 1. The simulcast will feature play-by-play announcer Marney Gellner and analyst Lea B. Olsen.
The full schedule for the Lynx games airing on KARE 11 includes:
- June 1 at Golden State Valkyries at 7:30 p.m. – Pregame at 7 p.m.
- June 8 at Dallas Wings at 3:00 p.m. – Pregame at 2:30 p.m.
- June 29 vs. Connecticut Sun at 6:00 p.m. – Pregame during the 5 p.m. newscast.
- July 6 vs. Chicago Sky at 6:00 p.m. – Pregame during the 5 p.m. newscast.

Fans can catch the games on KARE 11 over-the-air channel 11, as well as on cable platforms including DirecTV, Dish Network, and YouTube TV.
