Camavinga Faces Six Week Recovery

Eduardo Camavinga, the talented midfielder for Real Madrid, is facing some time off the pitch after suffering a knee injury during practice.

The incident occurred during a training session when he collided with his teammate, Aurelien Tchouameni. After the collision, Camavinga had to leave the field.

Medical tests have revealed that he has a sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his left knee. Fortunately, it seems to be a manageable injury, and he’s avoiding anything more severe.

However, doctors expect him to be sidelined for about six weeks. The club is likely to take a cautious route with his recovery to ensure he heals properly before returning to play.

This isn’t the start to the 2024-25 season that Camavinga was hoping for, especially since he was set to play a significant role in the team’s midfield, particularly if Tchouameni is shifted to play center-back in case of any absences.
