Megyn Kelly Announces Tour Following Charlie Kirk’s Death

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Conservative talk show host Megyn Kelly confirmed her plans to continue with the “Megyn Kelly LIVE” tour, despite the recent death of her colleague, Charlie Kirk. The tour will commence in the greater Houston area on October 23, 2025, and will include a stop at Dignity Health Arena in Bakersfield on November 20.
Kelly announced the tour plans on her show last Monday, a week after Kirk’s assassination. Initially, Kirk was set to join her for the Bakersfield event, and Kelly paused all promotional efforts out of respect for his passing. In her announcement, Kelly expressed her commitment to the tour, stating, “There is no f-cking way I am canceling one stop on this tour. It is more important now than ever.”
She acknowledged the concerns shared by her team and family about continuing the tour following Kirk’s violent death, adding that she feels obligated to keep the discussions alive. “To cower, to hide, to go silent is not the answer,” she said. Kelly also noted that they will implement significant security measures to ensure safety for attendees and guests.
The tour will feature notable guests including Tucker Carlson, Ben Shapiro, and Victor Davis Hanson, along with a variety of other figures. Kelly highlighted the importance of engaging with her audience and hopes to create an uplifting environment reminiscent of past events. “The whole evening was like a party with your great friends,” she remarked.
Tickets for the tour went on presale on September 8 and regularly go on sale on September 10. The tour is expected to stop in several cities including Fort Worth, Sugar Land, and San Antonio before ending in Phoenix.
As part of the Bakersfield stop, Kelly plans to honor Kirk, though specific details are yet to be finalized. “Trust me, I will be there,” she assured her audience. “We want to figure out an appropriate way to honor him, and we will be honoring Charlie throughout the tour.”
