Federico Valverde Linked to Manchester United as Transfer Rumors Heat Up

Madrid, Spain — Manchester United is reportedly preparing a significant bid for Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde. The Premier League club aims to bolster its midfield with an offer of €100 million (£86.9 million, $116.9 million) next summer.
In another transfer rumor, AC Milan plans to bid €5 million (£4.3 million, $5.9 million) for winger Federico Chiesa, who is reportedly interested in reuniting with his former Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid may offer midfielder Enzo Fernández as part of a swap deal involving Eduardo Camavinga and an additional €50 million (£43.5 million, $59 million) to secure the Argentinian player’s services.
Manchester United is facing competition for Camavinga, with clubs like Chelsea also showing interest. Additionally, Morgan Rogers has a hefty price tag of £80 million ($108.6 million), deterring interest from clubs like Chelsea and others in the Premier League’s Big Six.
On another front, goalkeeper Stefan Ortega could be on the move in January to Inter Milan, who are searching for a replacement for Yann Sommer. Newcastle‘s summer target, Jørgen Strand Larsen, recently signed a new contract with no release clause.
Former Manchester United and Tottenham left back Sergio Reguilón is attracting interest from several clubs following his free agency after leaving Spurs. Meanwhile, Liverpool‘s Ibrahima Konaté tops Real Madrid’s center back target list for 2026, alongside Tottenham’s Micky van de Ven.
Real Madrid is also keen on Liverpool midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, with a price tag of €75 million (£65.2 million, $88.5 million) not deterring interest.
Barcelona is pursuing a deal for Arsenal’s William Saliba, but Real Madrid is losing hope due to the size of the contract offered to him.
As the transfer window approaches, many clubs around Europe are actively seeking reinforcements to improve their squads.
