Bomb Threat Prompts Evacuation at Lamar University

BEAUMONT, Texas — A bomb threat at Lamar University prompted an urgent evacuation message for all individuals on campus. The LU Alert was sent out at 12:35 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, instructing everyone to evacuate immediately.
Sources told KFDM/Fox 4 that the threat was called in to the Lamar Police Department. As of now, there is no confirmation of any explosive device present on campus, and no injuries have been reported.
